It started as a joint venture between UMS Group, Coimbatore; WATERTEC Malaysia; and South Asian Investments, Sri Lanka. Our journey began with a single-minded mission – to revolutionise the bath spaces by replacing basic metal fittings & accessories with “Superior Virgin Grade Engineering Polymer Products”

Today, we are a trusted brand for discerning customers with the ‘H3 Promise’ that stands for offering Health, Hygiene and High-end designs. We proudly stand tall as a market leader in the polymer-based bath fittings space industry, with manufacturing units close to 32 million, and counting!
One of Watertec’s key strengths is distribution. The company boasts of one of the largest pan-India distribution networks, comprising 15,000+ channel partners and dealers, 1,800 suppliers, 36 warehouses & branches across India, and in select global markets like UAE, SAARC Countries , Egypt and South Asian markets. Its wide and robust distribution network gave Watertec the confidence to offer a 24-hour delivery policy for its products, anywhere in India!
Having made its presence felt in the Indian and South Asian markets, and winning the trust of its customers, We are now planning to launch products in the African and the Middle East markets.
Backed by a 1700-strong workforce, a 340-strong on-field sales force, Watertec is growing from strength to strength. Today, it is one of the biggest manufacturers in India, churning out more than 30 million units of bath fittings alone, every year.
The company runs 3 state-of-the-art manufacturing units that comply with Industry 4.0 framework. The latest unit also has best-in-class manufacturing equipment with robotics and automation. Over 1,500 people work across its three plants, across three shifts. The management believes that while automation and technology are crucial, a careful balance of skilled staff is a critical part of the strategy.

All the manufacturing operations are executed in-house, backed by the latest technology and superior craftsmanship, which gives complete control over the entire process and enables stringent quality control. Equipped with the latest, industry-defining, and imported injection-moulding machinery from reputed brands of Europe, advanced robotics from Japan and Europe and extruders from the most reputed brands in India, our team of highly qualified and experienced engineers employ entirely automatic robotic arms and a host of high-class instruments to ensure that all products achieve consistency in design and a perfect finish while delivering a high level of efficiency.
Equipped with a world-class lab, our stringent quality control ensures that every product undergoes numerous tests like torque test, endurance test, pressure test, heat resistance test and salt spray test. Superior quality, high-grade raw materials, proven functionalities and ease of installation, coupled with lifetime warranties are the hallmarks of our products.
WATERTEC has an in-house “Tool Room” that boasts a complete range of Tool & Die facilities for building precise injection moulds that are utilized for producing components in bulk. German machines ensure the best quality moulds that are highly appreciated for their key properties, such as high thermal insulation, compact design, sturdy surface strength, and anti-abrasive finish.
Watertec boasts of an in-house Reseach & Development (R&D) team which works on developing new products and ensure that the same are thoughtfully designed, intricately crafted and meticulously detailed, before they go into production. Once an idea is identified, the CEO, Mr. Bantwal Ramesh Baliga, himself takes a shot at product design with help from the R&D team. Then they keep experimenting, redesigning and testing, until it is ready for the market. In some cases, the company brings out its own range. In other cases, they partner with other industry stalwarts.
